Come hang out with your fellow crafty folks! Sticks & String is a group of folks who like to knit, crochet, sew, and do other things with sticks and string.
At the June meeting, Judy will show you how to make Brittany (B.Hooked Crochet & Knitting)’s scrubbies (free pattern). This scrubby is great for cleaning and for gifting. The scrubby is non-abrasive and has enough scrubbing power to clean pots, pans, and dishes. They are easy to make and loved by all. Give them to family and friends and they will clamor for more.
Below is the supply list. Judy will supply a small ball of Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle if you don’t have scrubby yarn and want to make one at the meeting.
Supplies:
- Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle, 85grams, 174 yards (available at Joann or Amazon)
- crochet hook: 5mm, 5.5mm, or anything close to these sizes
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Skills:
This is an easy project. If you know how to do the double crochet stitch, then you can easily do this project.
No registration required, and you don't need a library card to attend. Just drop in! And feel free to bring a friend.
See you there!
