Baffled by those crochet charts and diagrams with all those funny symbols? Crochet instructor Jan Bass will provide an introduction to how to read these charts, along with some helpful tips & tricks. She will also have available a couple of small charts for you to try out. Feel free to bring a bit of yarn and a hook to give chart reading a whirl. A limited amount of yarn and hooks will be available to use.

More about Sticks & String:

Come hang out with your fellow crafty folks! Sticks & String is a group of folks who like to knit, crochet, sew, and do other things with sticks and string.

This week we're hosting an open knit/crochet session. We bring our current projects to work on, and maybe a recent Finished Object or two for show-and-tell. We chat and give each other encouragement and advice. Sometimes we have optional group projects or have mini lessons or workshops.

All ability levels welcome. No registration required, and you don't need a library card to attend. Just drop in! And feel free to bring a friend.

See you there!
