Bilingual Citizenship Small Group Tutoring:
Tailed for learners with low literacy levels, this program focuses on the English portion of the Naturalization test.

Starting Jan. 29th, 2025

Free, virtual Citizenship classes are designed to help adult immigrants at the beginning to intermediate ESL level to successfully pass the citizenship test by practicing on the reading, writing, and civics portions of the test.

Online English Conversation Circles are designed for adults who are looking for a supportive and fun environment to practice their English speaking skills.

Basic English – Level 0

Small group of learners will begin by learning to read, write, and pronounce the letters in the alphabet. Then we’ll include vocabulary words and grammar.

Unlock energy, strength, and joy in this wellness-focused class led by certified instructor Iva Chu from Hayward's Yoga Sociale. 

Please arrive dressed for stretching. Mats provided, but if you have your own, please bring it.

Pop in to the New Leaf Bookstore on the first floor, across from the Children's Room, for some great deals!

All proceeds support library programs for kids, teens, and adults.
