Get to know the birds who make their homes around Hayward each spring. Find out where they come from and what draws them to our area. Learn where to go to watch these seasonal visitors and how long they are likely to stay before heading out again.
Presented by scientist and storyteller Bob Lewis, winner of the American Birding Association's Chandler Robbins Award for excellence in teaching. His life list includes more than 5,000 birds, and he has a story for each of them.
This program is part of Hayward Public Library's Bay Area Birding series. The next presentation will be June 21, Hummingbirds and their Secrets.
Sponsored by Friends of Hayward Library.
