Program Type:
Seed Lending LibraryProgram Description
Event Details
Many hands make light work! Join us monthly to sort seeds for the Seed Library.
Benefits include:
- Getting to brag about your garden.
- Getting a sneak peek at what seeds are going out soon.
- Making new friends.
Last year the Seed Library distributed over 5,000 little packets of seeds to the public (5,113 to be exact). That’s a lotta packets! This year, I’m hoping to spread the word and have many hands make lighter work of the task of folding and labelling packets, and sorting seeds.
That’s where some of you come in.
Every Third Thursday of the month from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon we’ll be hosting a Seed Sorting Party. We’ll meet in Room C across from the Maker Space on the 2nd floor of the Downtown Library (888 C Street).
If you’d like to spend an hour with fellow gardeners and help the Seed Library, I’d love to see you there!
