Chronic pain is on the rise, impacting more than 24% of U.S. adults, according to a 2023 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In this talk, we will discuss natural reasons why the body manifests pain, what the healing process for pain may look like, strategies to cope with pain during the healing process, and beneficial attitudes that support pain relief.
This talk is also suitable for caregivers and family members of those with chronic pain, to learn more about how to support and communicate with loved ones living with chronic pain.
This program is part of the Mindfulness and Healing series. Next in the series: July 18, Healing in Daily Life.
