Event Details

The Hayward Public Library is offering a free ESL Grammar Workshop Series! This class is designed for intermediate learners of the English language. The class will be held online on Tuesdays from 10-11 am for 8 weeks, beginning May 2nd. Interested participants will fill out the General Interest Form to begin enrollment.

The students will learn the eight parts of Speech, comparatives & superlatives, gerunds & infinitives, nouns & articles through lectures, online exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities! Additionally, students will be given a free textbook, school supplies, and a backpack to assist with their studies.

After completing a level (both Intermediate I & II), the learners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward.  

*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program. Learners must attend all 8 classes to participate.
