Intermediate I Grammar Class

The Hayward Public Library is offering a free ESL Grammar Workshop Series! This class is designed for intermediate learners of the English language. The class will be held online on Tuesdays from 10-11 am for 8 weeks, beginning February 7th. Interested participants will fill out the General Interest Form to begin the enrollment process.

The students will learn the eight parts of speech, past and future verb tenses, conjunctions and compound sentences, and adverb clauses through lectures, online exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities! Additionally, students will be given a free textbook, school supplies, and a backpack to assist with their studies.

After attending all 8 sessions, the learners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward.  

*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program. Learners must attend all 8 classes to participate.
