Event Details

The Hayward Public Library is offering a free ESL Grammar Workshop Series! This class is designed for advanced learners of the English language. The class will be held online on Tuesdays from 9-10 am for 8 weeks, beginning February 6th. Interested participants will fill out the General Interest Form to begin the enrollment process.

The students will review the eight parts of speech and learn modals, adjectives clauses, and the present perfect verb tense through lectures, online exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities! Additionally, students will check out a free textbook. They will pick up free school supplies to assist with their studies.

After completing a level, the learners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward.  

*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program. Learners must attend all 8 classes to participate.
