ESL Grammar Class- Beginner's Level

The Hayward Public Library is launching a new, free ESL Grammar Workshop Series!  This first class in the series is designed for beginning learners of the English language.  The online workshop will be held on Tuesdays from 10-11am on Zoom for ten weeks, beginning February 8, 2022 and ending April 12, 2022.  Interested participants will fill out the General Interest Form to begin the enrollment process.

The students will learn the 8 parts of speech, basic sentence structures, and verb tenses for present time through lectures, online exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities. Additionally, students will be given two, free textbooks, school supplies, and a backpack to assist with their studies. After attending all 10 sessions, the learners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward.  

*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program. Learners must attend all 10 classes to participate.
