The Hayward Public Library is offering a free ESL Grammar Workshop Series! This class is designed for beginning learners of the English language. The class will be held online on Tuesdays from 9-10 am for ten weeks, beginning May 2nd. Interested participants will fill out the General Interest Form to begin enrollment.

The students will learn the Parts of Speech, Time & Place Prepositions, There be structure, Pronouns (subject. objects, possessive), and the Present Progressive Verb Tense through lectures, online exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities. Additionally, students will be given a free textbook, school supplies, and a backpack to assist with their studies. 

After completing a level (both Beginner I & II), the learners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward.  

*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program. Learners must attend all 8 classes to participate.
