ESL Beginners I B Grammar Class

The Hayward Public Library is offering a free ESL Grammar Workshop Series! This class is designed for intermediate learners of the English language. The class will be held online on Tuesdays from 10-11 am for 8 weeks, beginning August 1st. Interested participants will fill out the General Interest Form to begin the enrollment process.

The students will learn the eight parts of speech, past and future verb tenses, conjunctions and compound sentences, and adverb clauses through lectures, online exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities! Additionally, students will need a library card to check out a textbook for the class. They will pick up free school supplies to assist with their studies.

After completing a level (Intermediate I & II), the learners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward.  

*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program. Learners must attend all 8 classes to participate.
