Join a rotating cast of your favorite storytime librarians for 30 minutes of stories, songs, and movement! Your kids will have a blast while they develop early literacy and school readiness skills.

Scientists from Cal State East Bay are coming to the library to play research games with kids! Children (5-12 years old) will have an opportunity to play a short game with a researcher, contribute to science, and win prizes.

Come join us for a monthly Ukulele Strum Along!  Strummers of all ages and levels are welcome.

This is a BYOU (Bring Your Own Ukulele) Program.  If you don't have an ukulele, you can check one out just like a book!

The Center for Elders’ Independence is a non-profit organization that is tabling with information on how PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) helps seniors 55+ with complex needs live safely at home.

A safe & affirming space to access resources, engage in learning activities, and build community! Join us for different activities once a month at the library. 

In-person homework help from a trained tutor specifically for teens! Help is available in all subjects, and all tutors are strong in STEM subjects.

Spanish Conversation Circles provide a supportive environment to practice your Spanish-speaking skills. A volunteer guides the conversation and answers questions.

In partnership with DigitalLIFT, The Hayward Library is offering a class for older adults to improve their digital literacy skills, AND these classes will be taught in Mandarin! 

We offer in-person bilingual tutoring for the Naturalization test in English & Spanish and English & Chinese.
