Research Games with CoDe (Cognitive Development) Lab (for ages 5-12)
Scientists from Cal State East Bay are coming to the library to play research games with kids! Children (5-12 years old) will have an opportunity to play a short game with a researcher, contribute to science, and win prizes.
The Makerspace is do-it-yourself space to create, play, and learn using equipment and tools at the library. For new makers and seasoned pros alike, equipment is available to use for free.

In this workshop, students aged 10-13 will build interest in robotics and gain experience in problem solving through working together to create a program to guide a robot dog through an obstacle course.
