We'll sing, dance, shake and read. All our storytimes help children develop early literacy skills through talking, reading, singing, writing, and playing.

Join us to celebrate the Alameda County Veterans whose works of art are on display in the Hayward Public Library, 2^nd floor Galleries, November 2, 2023 – January 6, 2024.

A drop-in program for elementary-aged children to practice their reading skills with the help of a Big Buddy (teen volunteer)! Books are provided, or your child may bring a book with them. 

English Conversation Circles are designed for adults who are looking for a supportive and fun environment to practice their English-speaking skills.

This is the orientation for new Student Friends volunteers in the Children's Room Helpers Program, an in-person volunteer program for teens ages 13 to 17.
