ATTENTION MILITARY VETERANS - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2023.

The Hayward Public Library Veterans Resource Center is pleased to host Dr. Charissa Hosseini - Suicide Prevention Coordinator from VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). She will be presenting the most updated data related to Veteran suicide as well as outlining the recommended process of interacting with Veterans who are in a suicidal crisis. Dr. Hosseini will also review Veteran Health Administration (VHA) related resources that are available to Veterans, caregivers, and family members.

Dr. Hosseini is a clinical psychologist who has working in the VHA since 2018. She is a graduate from Palo Alto University and receives great joy serving Veterans.
