Celebrate the Alameda County Veterans whose works of art are on display in the Hayward Downtown Library, September 19-November 26, 2022. The exhibition showcases 60 artworks by Veterans from the Alameda County Veterans Art Partnership, coordinated by the Alameda County Arts Commission in partnership with the Oakland Vet Center, which serves veterans throughout the County.

Special Guests:

  • Alameda County Auditor-Controller/Clerk-Recorder Melissa Wilk
  • Alameda County Arts Commission Director Rachel Osajima, and

The Veterans Art Partnership brings creative expression workshops to the Vet Center to support Alameda County Veterans and their families. This innovative program began in 2015 as part of a statewide initiative for Veterans and active military funded by the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

This event is co-sponsored by the Hayward Arts Council and Hayward Public Library.
