Program Description

Event Details

You're invited to an outdoor Strum Along to celebrate Hayward Public Library's new Uke Can Do It! program, offering classes and ukuleles for checking out. Come join Ukulenny and all the Library ukulele instructors for an hour of ukulele togetherness!

Bring your ukulele and join in on the fun! Or, come to watch and get inspired to check out your own ukulele, so you can participate in this new program!

Ukulenny is a full-time working musician, sharing his love of ukulele with students and audiences alike.  He teaches students from ages 6 to 86, privately as well as in group lessons at the Albany Community Center.  He also performs at weddings, private parties, corporate events, restaurants, bars, street festivals, and everywhere where ukulele is accepted.

Uke Can Do It! is supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
