The Kwanzaa Project: California Griot Art of Storytelling

The Griot is highly regarded in West Africa as being the Keeper of the Culture and uses music, song and movement in their stories. They are renown for their exceptional memory and command of the spoken word. 

Join this event to learn more about the Griot art of storytelling. Then, using some Griot tricks of the trade learned through this program, craft and perform your OWN story!
