Join the Joe's Honey family as they talk about bees and honey!
Joe’s Honey is a four-generation-strong family owned and run company in Hayward started in 2008 by Poppa Joe and Mario, who learned beekeeping from their fathers in Mexico, where bees were an important part of their work as subsistence farmers. Joe's Honey sells hyper local honey, pollen, and beeswax in Hayward and seve cities from Oakland to Fremont.
With over 15+ years of beekeeping in California, they continue 6 generations of beekeeping from Mexico. Their honey is sought from residents all over the Bay Area and has made its way all over the world by tourists.
This is a free program for children and families in partnership with the California State Library's Lunch at the Library program.
Visit Joe's Honey at the Hayward Markers Market for a Bay Area Honey Sample Tour and taste their unique and one of a kind East Bay Honey Mix!
