Event Details

Join us for Hayward's 2nd annual literary festival, the Lit Hop! We'll kick off the event at 2:00 at Heritage Plaza (C Street and Mission, across the street from the library), where there will be music and poetry readings and a Blackout Poetry craft.

Check out the Lit Hop Website for details. Books on B, Aranea Craft Studio, The Pizza House, The World Famous Turf Club, Yoga Sociale, and more will host tons of readings. You'll have the chance to hear new work from members of the B Street Writers, the Horror Writers Association, Mystery Writers of America, Afrosurreal Writers Workshop of Oakland, and more.

At 7:00 there will be an after party with light refreshments at the Sun Gallery.
