DESCRIPTION:The Hayward Public Library is offering a free ESL Grammar Work
 shop Series! This class is designed for intermediate learners of the Engli
 sh language. The class will be held online on Tuesdays from 10-11 am for
  8 weeks, beginning February 7th. Interested participants will fill out th
 e General Interest Form to begin the enrollment process.\r\nThe students
  will learn the eight parts of speech, past and future verb tenses, conjun
 ctions and compound sentences, and adverb clauses through lectures, online
  exercises, speaking practices, and many more fun activities! Additionall
 y, students will be given a free textbook, school supplies, and a backpack
  to assist with their studies.\r\nAfter attending all 8 sessions, the lear
 ners will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Hayward. 
  \r\n*Please note: This is a series of classes and not a drop-in program.
